The Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued a notification dated 2 February inviting inputs and suggestions on the existing MTCTE Procedure v3.0 (TEC 93009:2024).
This proposed update aims to review and align the current MTCTE procedure with the Telecommunications (Framework to Notify Standards, Conformity Assessment and Certification) Rules, 2025, notified on 16 May 2025.
All stakeholders—including manufacturers, test laboratories, and industry participants—are encouraged to share their feedback by submitting inputs through the online form provided by TEC from here: https://mtcte.tec.gov.in/mtcteSuggestionForm
Timeline: Suggestions must be submitted within 30 days of the date of notification.
This is a valuable opportunity to actively contribute to shaping the future MTCTE framework.
