5G Expansion & New IMT Bands:
NFAP-2025 identifies new frequency bands (6425 – 7025 MHz, 7025 – 7125 MHz) for IMT-2020 (5G) services, providing additional spectrum capacity and enabling enhanced capabilities across enterprise, industrial IoT, and consumer verticals.
Satellite Services Boom:
The plan actively encourages domestic manufacturing and deployment of:
- High Throughput Satellites (HTS) Allocation of Ka (26.5 GHz to 40 GHz), Q (30 GHz and 50 GHz), and V (40 to 75 GHz) bands.
- High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS) for remote area connectivity.
- Feeder link optimization for satellite broadband.
