Earlier this year, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) introduced a dedicated digital process on the ICEGATE portal for obtaining exemptions for Highly Specialised Equipment (HSE) under the Compulsory Registration Order (CRO), 2021.  To assist stakeholders, a comprehensive User Manual has now been issued to navigate the ICEGATE

To assist stakeholders, a comprehensive User Manual has now been issued to navigate the ICEGATE portals. The manual provides step-by-step guidance for applying through the LPCO module, streamlining the process for obtaining CRO exemptions under the Compulsory Registration Order, 2021.

This will help make the exemption process more structured, transparent, and user-friendly.
