The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has issued a final compliance alert for manufacturers and registered entities with pending obligations under the Standards & Labelling programme for FY 2017–18 to FY 2024–25.
Companies are required to regularise all outstanding compliance issues, including pending production data submissions and unpaid labelling fees, on or before 31 May 2026.
Under this one-time compliance window, entities must submit CA-certified production statements, including nil production declarations where applicable, and clear all pending dues along with an applicable interest penalty of 10% per annum.
BEE has further cautioned that failure to comply within the prescribed timeline may result in suspension of portal access, restrictions on future activities, and additional regulatory action.
This notification serves as a final opportunity for businesses to align their records and maintain compliance under India’s energy labelling framework.
