The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has launched a single platform for all EPR waste streams, making registrations and compliance management more convenient for Producers, Importers, Brand Owners, Manufacturers, Recyclers, and other stakeholders. 

What’s New? 

  • The portal comes with a refreshed and more user-friendly interface with improved navigation. 
  • Existing registered users can log in using their CEPR credentials. 
  • Circulars, SOPs, Rules, and other important compliance documents are now available in one place. 
  • The migration process for Plastic Waste applications has started. If you are already registered under the Plastic Waste Portal, you can link your application on the Common EPR Portal. After successful verification, your application details will be fetched. However, some portal features are still under development, and a few action items may not be fully functional at this stage. 
  • All registrations for Plastic Waste entities will now be carried out through the new Common EPR (SSO) Portal 

What do registered entities do now? 

  • Log in to the new Common EPR Portal 
  • Link your existing registration, wherever applicable. 
  • Verify your registration details after linking. 
  • Report any discrepancies if observed. 
  • Complete your pending registrations and compliance activities through the new portal. 

If you’re a PIBO (Producer, Importer, Brand Owner) or a PWP (Plastic Waste Processor) and you’re registered on any of the earlier EPR portals for any waste stream – now’s the right time to get on the new Common Portal and complete your registration there too.
