In continuation of the earlier notification dated 30 March 2026 regarding the exemption from Security Certification for cloud-based IP Routers and Wi-Fi CPEs, an important update has been issued by the National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS). 

The exemption, which was previously valid until 31 August 2026, has now been extended further till 31 December 2026. 

This extension provides continued regulatory relief for stakeholders deploying cloud-implemented IP Routers and Wi-Fi CPEs, enabling smoother operations and ongoing innovation in network infrastructure.
